Children's Life Jackets - Oregon
In the state of Oregon, children 12 years of age and under are required to wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket or life vest when on the open deck of a boat which is underway or being towed.
The life vest should also be in good condition and fit the child properly.
Your boat insurance company and the USCG will expect you to comply with the Oregon state boating safety regulations.
