Children's Life Jackets - Nebraska

In the state of Nebraska, children under the age of 13 are required to wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket or life vest, when on a boat.

The life vest should also be in good condition and fit the child properly. The exceptions are if the child is hunting waterfowl and the boat is anchored.

The USCG and your boat insurance company will expect you to comply with the state boating safety regulations.
